The client gifted us with an open brief, an empty 120sqm space with a newly installed automatic conveyor system running the length of one side of the room, along with a healthy budget to be creative with.
Referencing the existing store, operating a few doors down, we looked to address the processes and limitations that would factor into the new floorplan.
The personal tastes of the owners were also considered along with the aesthetic of the building at large. Fortunately, both were aligned and the project branding was quickly realised.
Working closely with the owners, we set to impart a feeling of quality and sophistication you would unlikely see in another drycleaner, anywhere. With the brand attributes defined and understood, the customisation of the interior elements was such, that the overall built environment feels cohesive and unified.
The project was completed in April 2017 and has been warmly received by old and new customers alike.
